Text Box: Over 250 descendants of four sons and one daughter of John Johnston Erwin and Sarah Marie Allison Erwin gathered for a reunion May 27, 1990, at the Buren Erwin family home in Calloway County, Kentucky. The Buren Erwin home is located on the old John Johnston farm near South Pleasant Grove Methodist Church. The current house was built in 1880 by John Johnston "Padge" Erwin II, Buren Erwin's grandfather.
